Glastonbury Flag Festival Project
Meets at Yeast Scrapstore every Friday between 2pm and 4pm The aim of this group is to create Flags from recycled material ( old festival tents and scraps of rip stop fabric from balloon manufacture and sails). These Flags will adorn Glastonbury High Street from the end of May next year for a period of about three weeks. This is a great opportunity to join a friendly and creative bunch of people in this community arts project. No great skills required as there are lots of jobs to do from cutting up old tents, sorting fabrics, cutting out templates and fabric and sewing the tents together.
