Come and join us for a four week introductory Felting course where you will gain the knowledge and experience you need to create beautiful works! No previous felting experience necessary!
The course covers all the basics of Wet and Needle Felting. Wet Felting is a very ancient craft predating most others and has been used to produce artistic items both decorative and functional throughout history. Yurts of Mongolia, gloves of Pompeii, and the bowlers and top hats of the industrial revolution were all created using various wet felting techniques. Needle Felting is a much newer craft that is becoming ever more popular among those that like to sculpt finely detailed fluffy things.
Cost for the 4-week course is £50. Materials and light refreshment included. Places are very limited, so early booking is essential. Contact us for booking forms on:
Or just drop in at the Yeast Scrapstore premises to see us.
A limited number of subsidised places may be available, please contact us to discuss.
